Plackard Man Found - ALIVE !!!

Our very own Coach Plackard Man  (Eugene) reappeared after 2 months of absence from the sands of Miami Beach, where he has lived for 43 years.

Eugene spent 1 month in a hospital in Cooper City (Broward County) where he underwent a skin graft for a lesion on his right ear.

After being refuesed admittance at Jackson Memorial and Mount Sinai for not having ID, he somehow ended up in Cooper City.  After surgery he escaped from the hospital catched a bus to one of the southern Broward Beaches and walked for 5 days until he reached his South Beach unobstructed ocean view sandy home.

He has settled in his usual spot between 7th and 8th Street in the sand.

We look forward to having Plackard Man call out all the runners given names as we run by him.

Good to have him back !!!
